## Update the Plugin

When a new version of the plugin is released, you'll be notified automatically:

* An **update popup** will appear when you launch Revit
* Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the latest version
* No need to uninstall the previous version first — the update will replace it

We recommend always updating to the latest version to ensure compatibility and access to new features.

## Troubleshooting

| Issue | Solution |
| -------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Acelab tab doesn't appear after installation | Restart Revit. If the tab still doesn't appear, verify the plugin is installed for your Revit version. |
| Sign-in fails | Verify your Acelab credentials by signing in at [app.acelabusa.com](https://app.acelabusa.com). If you can sign in on the web but not in Revit, check your network/firewall settings. |
| Update popup doesn't appear | You can always download the latest version manually from [acelabusa.com/revit](https://acelabusa.com/revit). |
| Plugin not showing in Apps & features | Try using the MSI installer method (Option 2) to uninstall instead. |
