# Search in Schedules

> Learn how to search across every visible column in a schedule.

Use the **Search this schedule** bar at the top of a schedule to find rows without building a filter. Search checks every column that's currently visible in your view — not just product name or manufacturer — matching the text exactly as it's displayed in each cell (for example, the selected options in a feature column, or a formatted metric or date). Columns you've hidden aren't searched.

## How to Search

* Click the **Search this schedule** bar at the top of the schedule
* Type your search term
* The grid narrows live to only the rows with a match
* Matching text is highlighted in each cell

<Tip>
  To find and step through matches without narrowing the grid, press **Cmd+F** (Mac) or **Ctrl+F** (Windows) to open the find bar. It shows the number of matches and lets you jump to the next or previous one.
</Tip>

<Note>
  Search covers the first 5,000 rows of a view. If your view has more rows than that, narrow it with a filter first to make sure search covers everything you need.
</Note>

## Sharing a Search

A search you run is reflected in the page URL, so you can copy and share the link to hand someone a schedule pre-filtered to your search term.
