Dashboard Layout

Both the Accounts and Projects dashboards follow a similar layout to help you quickly find and manage your data.

Header Section

At the top of each dashboard, you’ll find:
  • Dashboard Title — Shows whether you’re viewing Accounts or Projects
  • Search Bar — Allows you to search for specific items by name or keywords
  • View Options — Toggle between different view layouts (list, grid, or table views)
  • Create New Button — Quickly create a new account or project

Main Content Area

The central area displays your accounts or projects in the currently selected view:
  • List View — Shows items in a scrollable list with key information
  • Grid View — Displays items as cards for visual browsing
  • Table View — Shows detailed information in a column-based format
The left sidebar (or filter panel) contains:
  • Filter Panel — Access filtering options
  • Saved Views — Quick access to frequently used filter combinations
  • Navigation Links — Access related sections and tools

Accessing Account and Project Details

Viewing Account Details

  1. From the Accounts dashboard, click on any account card or row
  2. This opens the Account Details page, which shows:
    • Account name and basic information
    • Contact information and team members
    • Associated projects
    • Account history and activity
    • Settings and configuration options

Accessing a Project

  1. From the Projects dashboard, click on any project
  2. You can also access projects by clicking an account and viewing its Projects section
  3. The Project Details page displays:
    • Project overview and timeline
    • Associated schedules and documents
    • Team members and their roles
    • Project status and progress

Using Breadcrumbs

Breadcrumb navigation at the top of detail pages helps you track your location:
  • Click any breadcrumb to navigate back to that section
  • Example: Accounts > ClientName > Project XYZ

Quick Actions

Many dashboards include quick action buttons for common tasks:
  • Edit — Modify account or project details
  • Share — Invite team members or stakeholders
  • Delete — Archive or remove (when appropriate)
  • More Options — Access additional actions via a menu

Switching Between Accounts and Projects

You can easily switch between the Accounts and Projects dashboards:
  1. Use the main navigation menu in the left sidebar
  2. Click on the Accounts or Projects link
  3. Your previous filters and view preferences are typically remembered

Tips for Efficient Navigation

  • Use Keyboard Shortcuts — Many dashboards support keyboard navigation (arrow keys, Enter to select)
  • Bookmarks — Bookmark frequently visited accounts or projects for quick access
  • Notifications — Check the notification bell for updates on accounts and projects you follow
  • Recent Items — Look for a “Recently Viewed” section for quick access to items you’ve been working on
