Before You Begin
- Only an Org Admin can classify territories. This is the required first step — the assignment grid has no columns until territories exist.
- Org Admins can assign reps on any brand; Brand Managers can assign reps on brands they manage.
- Reps must already be on your team as a Brand Manager or Brand Rep on the relevant brand. Invite them first from the Team Dashboard if needed.
Step 1: Classify Your Territories
Territories are named groups of US states. They are global — one territory setup applies across all of your brands.- Open the Coverage Assignment page in your partner workspace.
- Click Classify Territories (top-right of the page).
- Leave the template dropdown on Custom Classification (the only option today).
- Name your first territory — territory names are limited to 20 characters.
- Click the state abbreviation pills to add states to the territory. All 50 US states plus DC are available.
- Click + Add Territory to create additional territories. Each new territory row shows only the states not yet assigned, so a state can never belong to two territories.
- Watch the footer counter — it reads “X of 50 states across Y territories — Z unassigned”, with the unassigned count highlighted in orange while any states remain unassigned.
- Click Apply. Apply stays disabled until every state is assigned and at least one territory has at least one state.
Step 2: Assign Reps in the Grid
Each brand renders as its own expanded section on the Coverage Assignment page, with a chevron to collapse it. Inside each section:- The Product Line column is pinned on the left; territory columns scroll horizontally when they exceed the page width.
- The first row is All Product Lines, with the helper text “Reps added in this section will be automatically added to all product lines.”
- Click + Add Rep in the cell for the territory (and product line) you want to cover.
- A dropdown opens listing the brand’s assignable reps — Brand Managers and Brand Reps, shown with avatar and name. Members already assigned to that cell are excluded.
- Use the search input to filter the list by name in real time.
- Select a rep. They’re added to the cell as a chip and removed from the dropdown.
