- Invite a new person — sends an email invitation with a role you pick.
- Add an existing org member to a brand — grants brand access to someone who’s already on your organization.
Before You Begin
- Inviting a new person requires the Org Admin role.
- Adding an existing org member to a brand requires Org Admin or Brand Manager on that brand.
- The target brand must be on a paid plan (Paid, Trial, or Extended Access). AECO-Invited or Lapsed brands are locked with a warning icon in the sidebar and can’t have members added or invited.
- If the invitee already has an Acelab account with another organization, they’ll be prompted to leave that org before joining yours.
Invite a New Team Member (Organization View)
Use this when the person is not yet in your organization.Steps
- In the Team Dashboard sidebar, click Organization.
- In the Members section, click Invite Member.
- In the Invite Member modal:
- Email(s) — enter one or more email addresses. Separate multiple emails with commas.
- Role — pick one of:
- Org Admin — full control across every brand in the org.
- Org Viewer — read-only across every brand (coming soon; currently disabled).
- Brand Manager — full control on one or more brands you choose.
- Brand Rep — day-to-day access on one or more brands you choose.
- Brands (for Brand Manager and Brand Rep only) — check the brands they should have access to. Org Admin and Org Viewer automatically get access to every brand.
- Click Invite.
AECO-Invited Reps cannot be created from the Team Dashboard invite flow. They are added by the architecture firm that engages them and appear automatically in the AECO-Invited Reps tab.
Add an Existing Org Member to a Brand (Brand View)
Use this when the person is already in your org and you’re expanding their brand access.Steps
- In the Team Dashboard sidebar, click the brand you want to add them to.
- In the Members section, click Add Member.
- In the Add Member to Brand modal, search the Organization for members you want to add. Only members not already on this brand appear as candidates.
- Pick a role for each: Brand Manager or Brand Rep. The default role is Brand Rep. Selecting a role automatically checks that candidate.
- Click Add.
Managing Pending Invitations
Once an invite is sent, it appears inline in the Members list with a Pending status. From the row-actions menu you can:- Resend Invite — sends a fresh invitation email and updates the sent timestamp.
- Cancel Invitation — invalidates the invite link and removes it from the list.
What the Invitee Experiences
The invitee receives an email with a link to accept. If they already have an Acelab account under a different org, they’ll see a confirmation prompt before switching. Once accepted, they land in the role and on the brand(s) you selected.Troubleshooting
